Hi! I’m Giuseppe. I build production systems, from Spring Boot APIs to Angular or React interfaces, all the way to Kubernetes deploys with CI/CD. 3+ years across insurance, energy, public sector and healthcare. In my spare time I take my own projects live, from code to Linux server: you’ll find them below!

  1. SLOT 5

    Accenture

    Analyst Software Engineer

    11/2025 – now · Naples

    • Generali · IIAB international insurance platform
    • Terna · management of Italy’s national electricity balancing market
    • Angular
    • React
    • Java
    • Node.js
    • Kafka
    • Kubernetes
    DETAILS

    GENERALI · IIAB

On Generali’s international insurance platform I took part in the analysis and development of frontend user stories for insurance and banking workflows. I built components of the PASS suite in AngularJS and Angular 14. On the Java 17 backend, built on a REST API architecture, I developed features and fixed bugs. I managed data versioning on Oracle and PostgreSQL, and the code and its pipelines on GitLab.

    TERNA · MSD

Most of my work is refactoring and migrating existing features, because the energy sector needs fast and accurate APIs. The main backend is Spring Boot, within a microservices architecture with REST APIs and services also in Node.js and Python. I write SQL procedures on Oracle, integrate MongoDB and work on asynchronous batch processing and real-time WebSocket notifications. On the frontend I build and improve React interfaces (TypeScript and JavaScript), focusing on UI and UX. I also manage deployments across environments with Kubernetes on OpenShift and AWS, with pipelines and pull requests on GitLab.

  2. SLOT 4

    Sistemi Informativi (IBM Company)

    Software Engineer

    05/2024 – 09/2025 · Rome

    • Italian Armed Forces · infirmary medical records (GDSI)
    • Ministry of Defence · whistleblowing platform
    • Municipality of Rome · city council resolutions (Lucilla)
    • Spring Boot
    • Angular
    • Keycloak
    • Elasticsearch
    • Python
    DETAILS

    GDSI · ITALIAN ARMED FORCES

In a cross-functional team I built Spring Boot REST services for managing infirmary medical records, adding a new Keycloak role and updating the Spring Security configuration. On the frontend I optimised Angular 14 components and integrated Elasticsearch for indexing and advanced search.

    WHISTLEBLOWING · MINISTRY OF DEFENCE

I worked on an anonymous reporting platform based on the open-source GlobaLeaks software, with REST APIs in Python (Twisted, SQLAlchemy), an Angular 18 frontend and deployment on AWS.

MUNICIPALITY OF ROME · LUCILLA AND CASA DIGITALE DEL CITTADINO

I restructured the Angular frontend of Lucilla, the application for city council resolutions, making it more maintainable and readable, and wrote the technical and functional documentation for the team. On Casa Digitale del Cittadino, a REST API architecture, I handled application logs and monitoring on the WSO2 orchestrator, with Kafka integration.

    ACROSS PROJECTS

In a multi-team setup I managed Oracle schema migrations with Liquibase and Spring Batch, keeping environments consistent.

  3. SLOT 3

    IndSoftware

    PLC/HMI Developer

    11/2023 – 12/2023 · Angri (SA)

    • Internship · client: Stellantis · temperature control in the drying departments
    • Siemens TIA Portal
    • C
    • VBScript
    • MS Access
    • MariaDB
    DETAILS

    STELLANTIS · CAR DOOR DRYING

During the internship I built and programmed PLCs and HMIs with the Siemens TIA Portal suite to control the temperature in Stellantis’ car door drying departments. I worked on the automatic flame control that keeps the drying temperature on target. I connected the plant logs to an MS Access database and the settings to MariaDB, with logic in VBScript and SQL.

  4. SLOT 2

    Openjobmetis

    Software Engineer Academy

    02/2024 – 03/2024 · Rome

    • Intensive 248-hour academy, with a Software Engineer qualification certificate
    DETAILS

During the academy I studied the backend with Java SE/EE and Spring (Core, MVC, Boot, Data JPA, Cloud), using Maven and Gradle, and the frontend with HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, React and Angular. I worked with MySQL and MongoDB databases and with both monolithic and microservices REST architectures (API Gateway, health checks). I went deeper into design patterns (Facade, Factory, Strategy, Singleton, Builder) and architectural patterns (DTO, DAO, MVC, IoC), along with Docker and Git.

  5. SLOT 1

    I.I.S. Pacinotti

    Computer science technical diploma

    2018 – 2023 · Scafati (SA)
